To prepare the students to face the difficulties of UGC NET examination an orientation class was arranged by the department of English on 22nd January 2019. The class was taken by Dr. Kalyani Vallath the eminent UGC NET examination trainer.
Department of English has been conducting NET Coaching for PG and UG students from 6th January 2017 onwards. Mrs Meera Mukundan (HOD) has taken the initiative with the help of the coordinator Mr Arun Krishna Assistant Professor, Department of English, to make this venture fruitful and effective.
Two of our students, Nandu Venugopal (2017-19 Batch) and Athul M Biju (2019-21 Batch) cleared the NET exam of 2019 December. Separate classes are provided for general and literature papers.

Department of English provided English grammar classes for the 10th and +2 students of Sree Vidyadhiraja HSS, Ettumanoor during the academic year 2015-16.
Our Department has been providing spoken English classes for the students of RSW LP school Kattathi during the academic year 2019-20.
