Established in 1995, the Department of Computer Science holds the distinction of being the first department of the College. With a strong foundation in academic excellence and innovation, the department offers a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) Honours program, with specializations in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI & ML). This program is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), ensuring compliance with national standards in technical education.

BCA (Honours) offers comprehensive knowledge in computer applications, programming, software development and emerging technologies. Eligibility
Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary education or equivalent with required academic qualifications, preferably with Mathematics or Computer Science and meet university admission criteria for eligibility to BCA (Honours) program.

The Computer Science Association, ECCSA, aims to enhance the academic and technical excellence of students through various enriching activities. Golden Moments
Our department has achieved remarkable milestones in academics and extracurricular excellence. Students secured Third Rank in M.Sc. Computer Science (2015–17 batch) and Eighth and Eleventh Ranks in BCA (2016–19 batch). We also won First Prize with A Grade in Photography and Third Prize with A Grade in Western Instrumental competitions at the University Youth Festival.
