Modern Facilities
Advanced Facilities for Student Success
Ettumanoorappan College provides well-equipped classrooms, libraries, laboratories, digital learning resources, student support services and a vibrant campus environment that enhances academic excellence, skill development and holistic student growth.
Infrastructure
The college campus spans over 4.50 acres, including 51,200 sq.ft of built-up area across three buildings. Teaching and learning are supported by 50 classrooms, three state-of-the-art computer labs with high-speed internet, a seminar room, conference room, auditorium and automated library.
Computer Lab
The primary goal of Ettumanoorappan College’s well-equipped computer labs is to support students in completing laboratory work through activity-based learning. Three labs with 90 computers, hardware and software, high-speed LAN, internet access, and faculty ensure practical training.
Library
The college library honors Thumpungal Ramakrishna Pillai, noted administrator and writer. It houses manuscripts and rare theses, serves staff and students and remains open 9.00am – 4.30pm on working days, 10.00am – 1.00pm Saturdays except second Saturdays and college holidays.
Seminar Hall
The college features a well-equipped, air-conditioned seminar hall with seating for over 90 participants. It hosts conferences, workshops, seminars and functions and includes a complete audiovisual system, available to departments and staff for lectures and academic events.
Canteen
The canteen is an important part of student life where students relax, chat and socialize together. It helps relieve stress and refresh young minds. The modern, hygienic campus canteen serves tasty food at affordable prices and is conveniently located within the secure college campus.
Hostel
Ettumanoorappan College offers clean, well managed hostel facilities for girl students in a nearby two storeyed building, ensuring a homely atmosphere, personal care, academic support, emotional wellbeing, cultural interaction and holistic development aligned with institutional mission.
PTA
The college PTA promotes effective communication between parents and faculty through regular meetings reviewing students’ academic progress and behaviour. All parents are members, encouraged to visit the college, meet principal and staff and support management.
Placement cell
The Placement Cell provides career guidance, skill development programs, resume preparation and interview training. It organizes campus recruitment drives and industry interactions, helping students enhance employability and secure rewarding career opportunities.

Campus Location Overview
The college is located at Choorakulangara, approximately 1.5 km north of Ettumanoor town. Ettumanoor lies about 11 km north of Kottayam, with the Main Central Road (State Highway 1) passing through it. The campus is situated nearly 400 meters west of Thavalakuzhy Junction along the MC Road.
