Library

The college library was established in 1995 is dedicated to the memory  of Thumpungal Ramakrishna Pilla Sir, father of our patron Sri R. Ramachandran Nair IAS (Retd.Chief Secretary) ,who is an efficient administrator , an eminent writer. This library has a collection of manuscript and  old thesis by eminent persons.

The library functions according to the following timings 9.00am to 4.30pm on all working days of the college and from 10.00am to 1.00 pm on all Saturdays except second Saturdays.

 All members of the teaching staff ,non teaching staff and students whose names are on the rolls of the college are members of the library and reading room.

Library as a Learning Center

The current strength of document comprises around 19,000 books , 20 journals and 4 periodicals. Books are barcoded and the housekeeping operations are computerized. The average number of users ( Teachers and students ) is around 150 per day.

All library routine activities including the OPAC , circulation have been computerized using  integrated library management software ( KOHA).We also have access to electronic resources like ” N – List”.
