The Post Graduate Department of English  is one of  the oldest and  largest  departments in the campus, consisting of faculty members   who  have a very distinguished learning  and teaching record covering all facets of English language & literature…
 
Along with the masters degree course in English language and literature ,the department also offers  opportunity to pursue topics like communication and journalism  along with English literature through the BA triple main degree course as a solid foundation for the pursuit of more advanced learning..

Since the inception of the department, there has been a substantial increase in non academic activities especially in theatre which  have made  remarkable impacts on the academic, social, and emotional outcomes of students.

The department proudly owns a library that  enables our  students  to embrace insights from multiple disciplines , reduce stress and dream more…We also  conduct NET coaching classes inorder to equip the students with the content knowledge which is essential to succeed in their professional careers …
